Here’s the post you’ve all been waiting for – Granny Greens Autumn Programme! All events will take place at the Red Squirrel pub on Lothian Road, between 6pm and 8pm, unless otherwise stated.

Every week has a craft drop-in element – if you don’t fancy taking part in the specific workshop, you can just bring along whatever project you are currently working on.

Occasionally there will be a small fee for participation in workshops, mainly to cover material costs, but generally Granny Greens is a free event.

We’ll put up detailed posts about each workshop or special event closer to the time, so keep checking the blog for the latest info. You can also follow us on twitter @greensnightout or like our Facebook page – Granny Green’s Big Night Out

If you have any pictures of projects you are working on, or want to ask the advice of fellow crafters, please feel free to post questions or photos on the Facebook wall.

I’m interested in learning a new hobby-knitting would be nice to ease the mind a bit. I like the idea of your craft nights in Fredrick St coffee shop. I am a complete beginner so would those be suited for me or do you run classes so I could learn and then join the group?

    Thanks for your help,

      Hi Erin
You’d be very welcome to join us – no expertise required! We’re a pretty friendly bunch and there’s usually someone around to help you! BUT, we don’t meet at Frederick’s any more – we’ve been meeting at the Red Squirrel pub on Lothian Road for quite a while. It’s near the west end, next to Wagamama. We’re there every Monday from 6-8pm.
      Hopefully see you soon!
