Rag-rugging workshop

by Anneleen on October 6th, 2011

We are excited to announce that the lovely Rhian will be leading an informal workshop on how to make rag-rugs, on Monday 24th October.

If you are up for joining in, please bring along some fabric for your rag-rug, preferably cotton or jersey or another light fabric, cut into small strips – approximately 4 x 1 inches or 10cm x 2.5 cm.

We will provide the hessian sacking (for a small fee) and the crochet hooks, but if you have your own hooks please bring them along, in case of not having enough for everyone to use.

If you want to take part, please let us know in advance by sending us an emailĀ  at greensnightout@gmail.com or tweeting us @greensnightout so that we can bring enough materials for everyone who wants to join in.

Please note that, as always, you should feel free to bring along whatever crafty project you are working on – you don’t have to take part in the workshop if you are keen on getting on with your own thing!

To find out more about future workshops, check out the previous post on our Autumn programme. See you Monday!
