We have a great programme lined up for the next four weeks so come and join us for chats, crafting and cake every Monday evening at Fredericks. We will be having a little break over August, so get your GGs fix in this month!

The plan for July is as follows:

Monday 4th – Film chat, The King’s Speech

Tomorrow evening the film group (open to all!) will be discussing the Oscar-winning film The King’s Speech, starring Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter. The group will meet from 630pm on the sofa area, and anybody can join in – if you just want to craft, chat and eat cake however, there will also be a bunch of us there doing just that.

Monday 11th – General Craft Drop-in

Bring along whatever projects you are currently working on – or want to begin – and meet fellow crafters to share ideas and skills with.

Monday 18th – Book Group

This month we will be trying something a bit different with the literary group – the plan is for everyone to bring along favourite passages of prose or poetry to share with the rest of the group and to chat about why we like them. The craft drop-in will again continue as normal and you are free to pop in anytime between 6pm and 830pm, but the book group will run between 7pm and 8pm.

Monday 25th – End of Year Party!

More details to come!

We are soon going to be sending out some questionnaires to ask for your input with regard to the way Granny Green’s Big Night Out runs and for any ideas you may have to make it better. We also hope to have a couple of get-togethers over the summer, so keep checking this blog and our Facebook and Twitter profiles!
