Granny Green’s Big Night Out – 18th April 2011

by Sarah on April 18th, 2011

Hurrah, it’s Monday! That means it’s Granny Green’s night (oh, and having to go back to work, but we’re ignoring that bit… only four more days until the weekend!) so come along and join us tonight if you can. We’ll be crafting and chatting at Fredericks Coffee House from 6pm until 8.30pm. Bring along a craft project or just come along for the banter and the cake – everyone’s welcome and entry is completely free! You can find us at Fredericks Coffee House, 30 Frederick Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2JR (click here for a map.

This is the last Granny Green’s before we take a two-week break – there will be no Granny Green’s Big Night Out on Monday 25th April or Monday 2nd May 2011. We’d like to pretend that we’ll be busy doing inspiring patriotic things like waving flags and gushing over wedding dresses, but we’re actually going to be stuffing our faces with egg-shaped chocolate for a fortnight.

We’ll only be putting down the chocolate to pick up the curry! Come and join us for a Granny Green’s meal, probably at Mother India’s Cafe, Infirmary Street (just off the Bridges). Bring yourself, your partners, parents or friends for this completely social no-craft-unless-you-don’t-mind-it-getting-covered-in-curry evening! We’ve set up a poll to work out the best day for the meal, so add your preferences. We’ll confirm the date on Thursday, so be quick!

Hope to see you tonight!

Sheesh, whur’s ma heid? Never can recall to check this site re: GG’s Mon eve’s fabity crafty meets info. Instead, found myself, swiftly boggling, around 6pm, the GG email re: curry night & mistakenly though it was happening on Mon 18th…

OK re-read the email, realised this event has yet to happen & so have stated preferences. Sad to have missed too many Mon eves lately and was regretting being away for Easter only to see there is a crafty break anyhow! Phew, looking froward to catching up with the crafty crews projects in May!

    Cheers Lynn
