Granny Green’s Big Night Out: 10th January 2011

by Sarah on January 9th, 2011

Welcome to 2011! If this is the year you’ve vowed to get out a bit more, or be a bit more creative, Granny Green’s Big Night Out is here to help!

This week we’ll be having a bit of a catch-up – thanks to the snow, we missed two weeks of Granny Green’s in December, and missed the chance to discuss our month’s book and film choices. So we’re back a week earlier than previously planned to discuss them! If you watched All About Eve and read One Day by David Nicholls, all was not in vain – pop in on Monday night to give your opinions.

As usual, we’ll also be doing some social crafting – bring along whatever you’re working on, or if you’ve got the January blues and can’t get going on anything (although that might just be me), come along and get some inspiration and encouragement!

Finally, if you’re interested in photography – or want to get interested in photography – we’re going to be starting a new strand devoted to taking pictures. No matter what your ability or equipment, photography is a great way of fitting some creativity into every day. Come along, we can chat about ideas and plans, and maybe you can talk me out of calling it Cameraderie…!

We’re at The LOT up to (and including) Monday 24th January, so we’ll see you there!

Granny Green’s Big Night Out
Mondays, 6-9pm

Just to add that the film is actually Random Harvest, not All About Eve…see you later!
